Demo: Sitecore Headless Development with Next.js

In this video, Sitecore Principal Product Manager Nick Wesselman demos Sitecore Headless Development with Next.js, which has been supported since Sitecore JSS 16.0. Nick looks at how to get started with disconnected mode, and connected mode with containers. With most content management systems (CMS), the decoupling is limited to content data. While the APIs can retrieve text and images for the various pages or screens, the information about how the content fields and elements displayed on the page is specified in code. This requires code changes to update the presentation of the content. When working in Sitecore as a traditional CMS, content authors have control over the presentation of the content, empowering them to manage content and presentation across multiple channels efficiently. With Sitecore's headless architecture, they retain control over both content and layout management.
