To our amazement, we found him running with a massive herd—healthy, powerful, and currently in musth. But amidst the grandeur of the herd, we witnessed one of the most heartbreaking scenes ever captured in the wild. A young elephant mother was carrying the carcass of her dead calf, completely refusing to leave her son behind. It is a rare, devastating display of a mother's love and the deep emotional bonds that elephants share.
