Cloning Saturation using Black Diamond Probe
This time we are getting back to the tricky transistor preamp saturation cloning from the last video tutorial. I will show you step-by-step how to perfectly clone a given preamp setting using the Aspen Instruments Black Diamond Probe plugin. We will then play the recording back using their Black Diamond Distortion plugin. In addition, we will also look at ways to clone a whole series of saturation spectra at different drive knob settings and morph through them during playback. All this using a fraction of the CPU used by neural network based distortion plugins.
