HMS Suffolk - Airfix, 1/600
This is a kit set review and build of the Royal Navy Kent Class Heavy Cruiser, HMS Suffolk. The Airfix kit was first made in 1964, so the quality of the moulding is neither crisp nor highly detailed. There is also a lot of flash that needs to be removed from the smaller parts. Nevertheless, the kit is not expensive, and as there are no other kits available for this particular ship, it is worth attempting. I found the hull and deck fit to be excellent, and when compared to other Airfix kits on the market, this is a better buy.
