Una ESTACIÓN de TREN abandonada y escondida en el medio del CAMPO I La Valerosa
La Valerosa Station Surely anyone who finds themselves a few meters from La Valerosa might think they'd have to be very brave to dive into that uncertain and silent tunnel of vegetation. An adventure that only lovers of towns and train stations can understand. Walking along the tracks, among very tall bushes, you reach the Old Station known as La Valerosa, which was originally called KM 125 and belongs to the San Andrés de Giles district. It was built by the General Railway Company of Buenos Aires. Made of wood and sheet metal (several are still standing), and as if hidden among the undergrowth, it tries to survive the passage of time. Thus, with all its visible wounds, we give ourselves a moment to admire it. The train no longer runs along its tracks, but the Friends of Belgrano Association carries out preservation and weed removal work. Thanks to this, curious travelers who value the history of our country can visit it, on foot or by bike, admire it, and be able to say: I was in La Valerosa and I emerged triumphant. Info: La Valerosa Station is hidden behind a fairly dense mountain. It can be reached by dirt road from Mercedes or from Route 7, Espora descent. It belongs to the San Andrés de Giles District. ...................................................................................................................... Viajar en foco was born from the love of traveling and exploring, with my camera, towns and landscapes in the Province of Buenos Aires. The joy I felt traveling, "discovering" stories, and meeting local people was so great that I felt the need to share my experiences and record them forever. What better way to do that than through social media! The program not only aims to motivate travelers to discover beautiful places, but also to bring the landscapes, stories, and culture of our land closer to those who cannot travel. We also pay tribute to those who, from anonymity, build our nation.
