J.R. meets with Jeremy and asks him to give Bobby $15 million if he wants to buy from the Ewing refinery. When Jeremy hints that Bobby could come on top, J.R. hopes that his scheme will make his brother look bad in their father’s eyes. Pam receives more flowers from Alex, but she decides not to call him. J.R. stays in bed while Lucy’s bridal shower takes place, hinting to Sue Ellen that Bobby will soon be out of Ewing Oil and J.R. will be back on top again.
