This year's theme is "Operetta." The choreography is inspired by a gorgeous mini-opera. Honiya's true strength lies in their complex formation changes. Instructor (Dancer): "Please adjust the height of your downdraft to match the person in front of you. It might be difficult for taller people, but make sure you do it properly." We pursue beauty with attention to detail, like the angle of your hands and the direction of your faces. This year, dancers ranging in age from 6 to their 40s participated. Sakura Imoto (10 years old, 3rd time): "This year's dance is so intense and fast." Airi Morita (10 years old, first time): "The choreography is different, so there's a lot to learn." We've added rock dance! It seems difficult, with intense movements followed by sudden stops as if "locking" or "locking" and synchronized hand movements...
