We kick things off at the famous Feira de Espinho, one of Portugal’s biggest open-air markets. There, we try Queijo da Serra, meet friendly locals, and get a taste of Portuguese market culture. After picking up a few treats, we head back home for a quick tasting session of what we bought. From there, the road trip begins! 🚗 First stop: Santa Maria da Feira, where we visit the medieval castle and talk about the city's amazing historical fair. Then it’s time for lunch at Churrasqueira Rocha in Mealhada, right in the heart of Bairrada, known for its legendary roast suckling pig. Finally, we arrive in Coimbra, one of Portugal’s oldest and most beautiful cities. We dive into the tragic love story of Pedro and Inês de Castro, and end the day with a visit to the iconic University of Coimbra, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
