The show became a cultural phenomenon, beloved by children and adults alike - including fans such as Albert Einstein, Frank Zappa, Groucho Marx, and Lionel Barrymore. ABOUT THIS PRESERVATION: This episode is part of an ongoing preservation project to digitize over 1,000 Time for Beany kinescope episodes before they deteriorate beyond repair. Many of these films are severely degraded, and some are currently being treated at UCLA's film preservation laboratory. Each scan costs approximately $150 and represents a race against time to save this irreplaceable piece of television history.
