Simultaneous Shaping Mtwo cuts both during the advance and laterally. The instrument automatically advances from coronal to apical using a brushing motion. The brushing motion is activated as soon as resistance is felt during the instrument's automatic advance. It is then withdrawn 1-2 mm and brushed against the canal wall with gentle lateral pressure. This creates space for the instrument to advance apically without pressure. The root canal is thus shaped to its full length by each instrument.
