FSS Congress 2015: Margrethe Kobes and Karin Groenewegen - Effectiveness smoke detectors in houses

Karin Groenewegen and Margrethe Kobes, researchers at the Fire Service Academy, present at the FSS congress 2015 the results of the research to the effectiveness of smoke detectors in houses. With experiments and examples during real house fires, they can tell us more about the effectiveness. The 8th annual congress Fire Safety & Science (FSS) will be organized by the IFV together with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) from the United States. National and international speakers will provide presentations about the theme 'Understanding of and responding to fire'.
