Anand crushes Vaganian's French Rubinstein in 22 moves

Featured is a chess miniature between Vishy Anand and Rafael Vaganian from the 1995 Tal Memorial. In response to the French Defense, Rubinstein variation, Anand chooses to exchange his dark-squared bishop for Vaganian's knight. After this exchange, we observe imbalances with the minor pieces and structure. Anand's solid approach to simply castle kingside and play with his c4/d4 pawn duo made the game feel almost effortless.
