Banana Town in Karuri Ward, Kiambaa Sub-County is now brighter, safer and more vibrant following the commissioning of solar-powered streetlights under the Angaza Kiambu programme. The installation of the modern solar lights is set to boost security, support businesses operating at night, improve movement for residents and create a more conducive environment for economic growth within the town.
