72% of French people are calling for a ban on stag hunting. Yet, Mickaël and his children, Barbara and Gabriel, have chosen to dedicate their lives to it. For an entire weekend, I followed their hunt during a stag hunt: the reconnaissance at dawn, the chase, the pack, and the shocking traditions, such as the curée, when the hounds receive pieces of the animal as a reward.
