Tripod Rigging Options for Confined Space Rescue (Can You Spot the Obvious Major Rigging Mistake?)
Correction: Major Safety Issue - For the N-Rig & M-Rig configurations, the upper left directional pulley was not correctly pinned into the head of the tripod. My apologies, as I didn't catch the mistake until I de-rigged it. Luckily there were no live loads on the system, as it was for static demonstration purposes only. This is why belay systems exist! Five Options: 1. Frame-mounted Winch 2. Single Line Directional [Not shown, but self-explanatory] 3. "N" Rig (2:1cd) 4. "M" Rig (2:1 double cd w/ Cancelling Resultants) 5. Classic "Ladder" Rig (Head-mounted Simple 4:1cd)
