WMI Plus At Home - Sunny Jain with Samita Sinha

Sunny Jain, a Brooklyn-based drummer, dhol player, bandleader, and composer, speaks with artist Samita Sinha in the first WMI Plus At Home session of WMI’s 40th Season. Sunny’s project "Wild Wild East" reflects the immigrant experience as an American cowboy story. Samita Sinha creates multidisciplinary performance works that unravel Indian vocal traditions through the body, creating a decolonized, multifaceted language of voice and vibration.
