We decided to take Gavryusha out on a leash for the first time to help him get used to his collar. The calf proved stubborn and heavy. Meanwhile, the cows are playing in the yard, and the young animals are slowly getting used to life on the farm. We continue to work on the plot and garden – whitewashing the trees, fighting ants, feeding the dahlias, roses, tomatoes, and cucumbers, and showing how seedlings, strawberries, currants, onions, beets, and gooseberries are growing. Seryozha is mowing the grass, collecting it for the calves, and we're showing how the bulls, heifers, and cows are cared for in the village. We did some more tractor work, found a use for the old gravel, leveled the area near the new fence, and started preparing the ground for the next yard project. In this episode, we're also closing out an important season on the farm—we delivered the last two bulls.
