Surviving LA Without a Car in 2026: My Transit & Food Adventure

I decided to do one of my random solo day trips to Los Angeles to see how easy it really is to get around without a car. I started by taking the Metrolink into Union Station, then hopped on the Metro Rail to Expo Park/USC station to check out the Exposition Park Rose Garden before exploring the California Science Center. Along the way, I stopped for a Mexican hot dog, Salvadoran pupusas, and a horchata latte— all while making my way through LA using only public transit. 0:00-0:34: Metrolink Journey from OC to Exposition Park Rose Garden 0:35-1:32: Reflections on the Metro Rail from Los Angeles Union Station to Expo Park/ USC station 1:55-2:59: Tour of the California Science Center 3:00-4:17: Thoughts on the California Science Center 4:18-6:11: Tasting the Mexican Hot Dog and my thoughts on it. 6:12-6:41: Walking from the California Science Center to the Salvadoran Spot 6:42-8:23: Thoughts on the Salvadoran Spot that I ate at 8:40-9:32: Journey from the Salvadoran Spot to Downtown LA via LA Metro 9:34-12:00 Thoughts on the Horchata Latte and Pershing Square in Los Angeles 12:17-13:56: What I really think of LA metro #vlog #losangeles #lametro #salvadoranfood
