ASMR Old US MRE from 80s (expired?)

In this ASMR video, I unbox and carefully examine an old U.S. MRE from the 1980s. This ration has been sitting around for decades, and it was fascinating to see how well some components survived through all these years. The main course was Chicken Stew, and when I opened it you can see that I stopped for a while. It's because the smell was strange enough and I decided to put on gloves before handling it further. I wouldn't dare to taste it, would you? :D The candies had clearly suffered over the years they were partially melted and had lost their original hardness. Surprisingly, most of the dry food items still appeared to be in decent condition and were probably still good to eat. One of the biggest surprises was finding a tiny bottle of Tabasco sauce inside. In more than 10 years of opening MREs, I've never come across Tabasco inside. You may also notice that there is no Flameless Ration Heater included. That's because FRHs were officially introduced to U.S. military MREs in 1990, so they weren't available in rations from the 1980s. This video features plenty of satisfying sounds: tapping, scratching, crinkling packaging, sticky fingers, and even a short rainy forest scene to help create a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy!
