He is shocked when she refuses to listen to his requests to cut down on the portions, saying she feels hungry. Having reached his limit, Enji points out not only Hisame's wasteful food consumption but also her wasteful shopping habits...which ultimately causes a deep emotional breakdown in their relationship.
