Local Shelter Plan (LSP) Orientation

The DHSUD - ELUPDD NCR conducted a Orientation Meeting dated 20 July 2026 via Zoom to discuss the 2016 Local Shelter Plan (LSP) Manual. LSP is a document which includes an analysis of the present local housing situation i.e., the identification of housing problems, upgrading and future housing needs, household’s affordability and local resources such as land, provision of basic services, and finance. A comprehensive document developed by an LGU that outlines strategies and actions to address the housing needs and related shelter concerns within its jurisdiction. It serves as a framework to ensure that adequate, safe, and affordable housing is provided to all, particularly to low-income and vulnerable sectors, in alignment with national housing and urban development policies.
