This time, I'm driving over 600 km across northern Italy to reach the port of Ancona, where I'll catch the ferry to Greece. Everything was going perfectly... Until my cat started meowing nonstop. Sütlaç is usually calm during road trips, but that day she wouldn't stop. I became so worried that something had happened to her that I pulled over onto the emergency lane to check on her. I'm so glad I did... What happened next completely changed my day and reminded me that anything can happen on a long road trip. And to make things even harder... it was Sunday. If something goes wrong on a Sunday in Europe, you quickly realize how challenging it can be.
