Is Katara really the Ultimate political "Dungeon Master" Commander or a complete force of domination? Originally designed as a "Dungeon Master" for Commander—a political tool to decide who gets to play their threats and who doesn't—I’ve adapted this blueprint for Brawl in MTG Arena. Katara comes down early for just 2 mana and rewards us for playing exclusively on our opponents' turns. But does "controlling the flow" make for an interactive and challenging game, or will the challenge prove too big for our opponents hopes? The deck is built on two main win cons: The Laboratory Maniac/Oracle route: Dragging out the game, answering every threat while we slowly draw our entire deck. The Turbo - Teferi, Temporal Pilgrim: Getting to ultimate in one turn from a Katara attack trigger. ... Or sheer desperation from our opponents, folding in desperation after being locked out of the game.
