Golden Ears Summit | One Night Stand with a Mountain
We’ve hiked plenty, but this was our first overnight adventure in the Canadian backcountry. You’ll see how we tackled the Golden Ears Summit with our overstuffed backpacks, navigating the rugged terrain and learning some hard lessons along the way. By the end, our bodies were aching, but our spirits were high, ready for the next challenge. Just an hour from Vancouver, Golden Ears is a 22km round-trip hike with 1,697m of elevation gain. You will need a backcountry camping permit for $10 before you leave.
