Cardputer ADV XL — External 2.8” Display Mod ILI9341(full video)

I finally made a new XL case version for the Cardputer ADV with a 2.8” ILI9341 display. Compared to my previous version, the screen is now bigger, the bezels are much thinner, and overall it feels way more like a real tiny retro computer. One important detail: to make the display fit inside the new case, I had to carefully cut about 6 mm off the display PCB itself. In this video: • assembling the new XL case • building a custom connector step-by-step Current limitation: The display works fully, but the backlight reaches 100% brightness only when the Cardputer is powered through USB-C. Without external power, the brightness is lower — around 50%. The video is split into two parts: First half — building the new case.
