There is no sewing for this placemat at all - everything is done in the hoop! You stitch out both of the sides of the placemat and then join them in the hoop with the center part! Don't worry, it is easier than it sounds and will work perfectly! It is like an embroidery puzzle - every piece fits right in and looks great at the end - you can't tell that it is done in 3 hoopsings!
