Jean-Pierre Colombies worked as a police officer for over 30 years. He notably served in the criminal investigation unit and the narcotics squad of the Marseille Regional Judicial Police Service (SRPJ). This experience gives him a keen perspective on the security situation, especially given that recent weeks have been marked by shootings linked to drug trafficking, as well as the murder of Philippine, a student whose body was found in the Bois de Boulogne. Taha Oualidat, the suspect in the young woman's murder, is a 22-year-old Moroccan man already convicted of rape and under an order to leave French territory (OQTF) at the time of the crime. "We let him go free, which is a complete aberration. We should never have let this man out. His first instinct wasn't to assimilate into French society, into the French nation; on the contrary, it was to attack," emphasizes Jean-Pierre Colombies. “We are witnessing utter madness, the most visceral outrage imaginable, because this young girl, who wasn’t harming anyone, who was, on the contrary, according to all the accounts we have, kindness itself, crossed paths with a wild beast and lost her life.” “There’s something quite cynical about this system that fails to protect our society, our citizens in this instance, because we have many rapes, and unfortunately, many cases of undocumented immigrants,” the former police officer continued. Jean-Pierre Colombies denounced “a completely Kafkaesque system” and believes that undocumented immigrants “whose sole objective is to be parasites and delinquents, even criminals, on our territory” must be deported without delay. According to him, French society is increasingly resembling the film A Clockwork Orange. “We are witnessing a surge in violence, crimes, and offenses committed in public spaces. [...] We see it in every town and city, every day.
