Windows sucks at Printers!

No wonder IT people hate dealing with printers, I completely understand it now. I recently had to make a printer work with Windows. A samba shared printer that worked perfectly fine, no fuss, no muss with Linux. Windows, however refused to see it, use, or work with it. Even when connected directly to the windows machine, and installing the manufacturers Windows only drivers, it still simply would not work. Linux, however, just saw it, printed to it, and I never even had to ask it to add the printer.
