Taito Station Akhihabara - Lower Floor

During our trip to Akihabara, we ventured down to the lower floor of Taito Station and were blown away by the incredible arcade scene. The floor was packed with unique Japanese arcade machines that you simply don't find back home in the United States, creating an atmosphere that felt like a dream for any gaming enthusiast. Street Fighter 6 had a strong presence, with plenty of players sharpening their skills—likely because EVO is right around the corner. However, the real king of the arcade seemed to be Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. 2 Infinite Boost. Nearly every row of cabinets was filled with players battling it out in intense Gundam matches, and the excitement around the game was impossible to miss. From the sights and sounds of the arcade to watching high-level competition unfold right in front of us, this was easily one of the highlights of our time in Akihabara.
