Microsoft Surface Pro 7 In 2026 Review

In this review, I’m taking another look at the Microsoft Surface Pro 7, originally released in 2019, to see how well it still holds up in 2024 and whether it’s still worth buying. The Surface Pro 7 came in several configurations, featuring 10th-generation Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processors paired with 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB of RAM. I reviewed the i5 model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. I go over key aspects like build quality, ports and buttons, screen quality, speakers, overall performance, gaming capability, video editing, and general system speed. Microsoft later released the Microsoft Surface Pro 7+, which includes 11th generation Intel processors and improved battery life, but this review focuses specifically on the standard Microsoft Surface Pro 7. The device originally shipped with Windows 10, though it can also run Windows 11. 0:00 Intro 0:06 Price 0:15 Specifications 0:37 Performance 1:02 Photo and video editing 1:22 Cooling 1:32 Type cover and kickstand 1:47 Tablet mode 1:58 Build quality 2:17 Ports 2:27 Keyboard and trackpad 2:40 Battery life 2:58 Screen 3:20 Speakers 3:27 Webcams 3:44 Conclusion
