A Day in My Life as a Water Project Volunteer in Thailand 🇹🇭 Come along for a full day in the life as I volunteer with the Karen Hilltribes Trust (KHT) on a clean water project in Ban Mae Sa Lap, a remote Karen hill tribe village in Mae Hong Son, Northern Thailand. In this vlog, you’ll see our team working on pipework and concrete water tank construction as part of a WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) project bringing clean water access to the community — plus the downtime in between, from meals with the team to playing football with the local kids. Volunteering with KHT has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I wanted to share what a typical day actually looks like — the hard work, the community, and everything in between.
