Pokemon Reborn MonoSteel HC Nuzlocke VS Fiore Gauntlet

Fun little gauntlet to plan this time around. As with many fights in monosteel, the problem isn't on the defensive side. In this case I needed to figure out how to maintain momentum and include my partner in the fight since my damage output would be lacking without some sort of setup involved. On the flip side as mentioned, defensively I would often by left alone for single target attacks, especially in fight 3. For the individual fights... Fight 1 was free, with the only major concern being Machamp (which we had mawile and Bronzong to help deal with if needed). Defiant boosted Empoleon though did just fine, which Bisharp could have also assisted in as well if need be. Fight 2 started off in the worst way it possibly could with that freeze on Hippo. You can only cover so many openings, and my plan was to always KO haxorus, protect, then swap into a counter mon on the now sleeping Walrein... However that was not longer an option, so I had to dodge some blizzard freezes. In a perfect world Roserade would have died to 1 shot from Drill Peck as well after a rock slide or stomping tantrum from said Hippo (A-Slash always baited HP fire), but... well freeze and all that. Luckily, I was able to pilot and recover from here. Grass Knot on Bronzong was my favorite tech here; I've actually never ran it before for this fight, but I didn't have a great way to 1 shot Rhyperior otherwise. Although I never planned to position Zong for that specifically, you can never tell where you have to pilot Fiore so I was glad I chose that move over a generic option like Gyro Ball. Once Fern's side was eliminated in this fight I just had to ensure I was setup to sweep Blake's side, but took a moment thanks to the damage already present on Zong. Luckily Rini's side was still alive, so that took away a lot of the pressure to get off another trick room until it was safe to do so. Fight 3 was some really neat tech. I considered this long before entering the circus on how AlolaSlash could get value in fight 3, and actually found that as long as I could do 32% minimum and Electrode would thunderbolt Scizor x2 I could actually KO Scizor with Alolaslash. Thus that odd EV spread was born, along with the Naughty nature just for this fight. Past that I knew I had a schedule with Bisharp that could let me easily sweep this fight. Basically with Whiscash left alive and Bisharp's natural bulk, I could have it setup under Trick Room once TTar and Scizor were low/dead, and just sweep Solaris. After that I just stall out Trick Room, and at it's speed tier it actually outsped all of John's side, so now I would be positioned to sweep again. The timing proved to be a little tricky, but overall I would say I pulled it off well. The only minor complaint I have with this Fiore is I could not find a 6th mon I really liked. Probopass did... fine I suppose, but you would like more contribution than a single wide guard and eject play. Still, there are worlds where its 1vs1 stall ability could have been needed (primarily in fight 3), so I shouldn't complain.
