How to: Thermostat Replacement - 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser (180 deg thermostat)

We bought the 180 thermostat from Modern Performance ( @ModernPerformance ). Originally, the car came with a 195 Deg thermostat. But, being an old car, we figured we let it run a bit cooler so that it does not get strained with so much heat. There are pros and cons with a lower temp thermostat, but we think it would be more beneficial in the long run We tried our best to include every step in the process.
