Perth Royal Show Train Services 2024

In this video we take a look at the extra train services running as a result of the Perth Royal Show in 2024. The typical Showgrounds express made its return this year, but with a more interesting consist, not because there were any C-series running it (which would have been great), but there were A-series and 3-car B-series operating on it on weekdays, since Transperth are really running low on the availability of B-series trains recently. Extra W patterns on the Yanchep and Mandurah Lines were also operating all week, using six-car sets, although most of the time they were quite empty. This video mainly contains exterior shots at Whitfords, Perth and Showgrounds regarding these services, and not a full journey on the express train. I did want to travel on the A-series with male announcements on the express but the service I was on was cancelled and I didn't get another chance to.
