The Authoritarianism of Donald Trump: A Psycho-Political Analysis

This is the presentation I gave at the 2nd Annual Institute for Critical Social Theory conference on July 9th, 2026, at Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey. It is based on my book, "The Dark Charisma of Donald Trump: Political Psychology and the MAGA Movement" (Ekpyrosis Press, 2023). In this discourse, I focus on three elements of Trump's psychological profile: Malignant Narcissism, Machiavellianism, and Psychopathy - with the understanding that such psychological dispositions will translate into political policies that reflect such a psyche.
