I stayed at the historic ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Akita, just a 3-minute walk from Akita Station! It was formerly known as the Akita View Hotel, and actually predates the Asakusa View Hotel! My main reason for staying here was the amazing breakfast buffet where you can compare three types of Akita-grown rice!
