Let's discover Košice, Slovakia’s historic capital of the east! We begin our walk at Saint Elisabeth Cathedral, the largest church in Slovakia and a Gothic landmark dating back to the 14th century. There is some singing this time so we listen for a bit. Next, we pass the St. Urban Tower and the replica of its fire-damaged bell. Just a few steps further, the Singing Fountain greets us with water and music, right in front of the National Theatre. This is a favourite area in Kosice to sit, look and listen. We continue along Hlavná Street, passing renovated façades, cafés, and the baroque Immaculata column. From there, we explore Hrnčiarska Street - Košice’s peaceful craft lane - and peek at the medieval Old Town Gate ruins. Our final stops include Saint Michael Chapel and the city's historic coat of arms. Experience the rhythm of Košice, one step at a time.
