Micro DIY ROV - First Dive - Clatto Park - Dundee - Home Built Submarine Drone

Well, I finished my Micro ROV, seriously please with the results. It flies pretty well, and once you get accustomed to the controls, it is very maneuverable. Found a few "artifacts" down at the reservoir bed, and managed to recover some using a hook on a rope, the Rollerblade at the end was proving to be particularly difficult to recover, so the ROV went in an helped out ;) Yes it's a little under powered, however it functions to at least 5m, kind of impressed myself with my camera and light, and the fact they actually work! i'd hoped to have more "3rd person" footage, but my cheap GoPro clone crapped out after around 7 mins, so only saved 7 min clips, even though it was in the water for about half an hour at a time! hopefully there will be more footage to come from this little beastie! check out my website www.sensible-safety.com
