Progress - Joel Eggimann
I’ve been doing Parkour since more than 7 years now and my progress always amazed myself. I’ve never did jumps with the main purpose of getting better or further. I always just did it because I enjoy moving so much! In fact you automatically get better in something you do all over again. When I look back to my first 4 years of training I notice that my progress was huge and since 2012 I feel like I don’t get much further in jumps. It almost feels like I stopped progressing. But I’m completely wrong! When I compare my training to back then I realize that nowadays I have way more control over my body. I feel so comfortable when I move. The situations of “mental blocks” almost don’t exist for me anymore. Sometimes it feels like I could do everything and even if I would fall, my reflexes will save me. It’s really hard to describe that feeling but I’m sure if you’re in the game for that long you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Most of the clips in this video are first-take shots and just filmed for myself to see how it looks like. Then I decided to cut them together and in another 7 years it definitely will be interesting to remember back and see my progress again… Contact: [email protected] www.joel-eggimann.com Facebook: / joelsparkour Instagram: / joelsparkour
