Capstone Recording: Blue Bossa
The Capstone Recording series is a collection of audio/video recordings produced by our Jazz Studies faculty at the end of each Spring semester to give students in our combo program a goal to strive and rehearse for after their final live performances are completed. Students are at the center not only of the recordings as performers, but also assist with the audio and video recording process, and also have input on the audio mixing decisions. This recording features the Oscar Peterson combo. Composition by Kenny Dorham. Arrangement by Gabe Evens. Jakobie Kindle- trumpet Dylan Williams - sax Aiden Shimodaira - piano Colin Papierniak - bass Tucker Blanton - drums Jakobie and Colin graduated this year. We will miss you both! Audio recording, mixing and mastering by Chris Fitzgerald, with critical input from the students. Video editing and production by Asan Ismankulov.
