Mini mare Princess giving birth to her perlino pinto wobbly colt Starlight

Usually there isn't much you can do to encourage a mare to give birth, but then Princess is known to be a sensitive mare. She had recently recovered from an illness late term, and this foal arrived on the cut-off date of premature to full term, at 320 days gestation. He shows some laxity in his front legs, you'll see here. At about a week and a half old, he was experiencing colic, which was an emergency situation and was hospitalized. Starlight survived and his legs have grown stronger. He's been through a lot for a sweet little guy.
