The glamor factor of consulting life at the top consulting firms such as McKinsey, BCG or Bain is almost legendary: There is the common belief that top management consultants enjoy the perks of a luxurious and glamorous consulting lifestyle, that they fly in business class around the world, regularly stay in luxury four- or five- star hotels and enjoy lavish and exclusive parties. In this video, I explore for you whether this consulting myth of a glamorous consulting life is true or not. I first discuss the frequency and benefits of business class flights that you may enjoy as a consultant. Later on, I break down for you what to expect from your stays at luxury hotels and to what extent you can enjoy their amenities, as well as make you aware of some caveats you need to bear in mind...
