1095 - Prague, Czechia: Skoda 52T trams in service in May 2026

Welcome to Podbaba Transport Video 1095. On our recent visit to Prague, we managed to film and photograph all of the remaining first batch of 20 Škoda 52T (also known as Škoda ForCity Plus) trams. The 52T is a 100% low-floor multiple-unit tram built by Škoda Transportation in Plzeň for the Prague tram network. A couple of the class were not out during our visit but we had already filmed them previously. 9503 broke down on one of the days we were there with a brake fault and it was manoeuvred into the temporarily redundant track between IP Pavlova and Muzeum. 9511, which had evaded us on all previous occasions was also out of service throughout our visit but we managed to catch up with on our visit to The Central Workshops of the Prague Public Transit Company (Ústřední dílny DPP), located in the Hostivař district (bordering Strašnice, Malešice, and Štěrbohol). This massive complex is the primary maintenance, repair, and modernization hub for Prague's trams, buses, and metro network. For future visits to Prague, at least another 20 of this class will be in service as 9521 arrived in early June 2026. Thank you for watching this 2026 Youtube Podbaba Transport presentation.
