Roberto Ghelfi - La Lunigiana, la Lunigiana tra castelli, borghi fortificati e nobili città

Roberto Ghelfi – Lunigiana: Castles, Fortified Villages, and Noble Cities, part of the 7th edition of the series "Landscapes in All Seasons, Identity Landscapes," curated by the Giardini e Paesaggi Cultural Association. Italian landscapes are a range of situations, distinctive crops, valleys where particular activities have developed, and unique landscape structures. We want to showcase their distinctive variety and beauty and, over time, provide a guide for a unique journey through Italy. Lunigiana, a border valley rich in fortified villages and castles where the art of printing was born, is described by Roberto Ghelfi, architect and historian of Lunigiana. A member of the Giovanni Capellini Lunigiana Academy of Sciences in La Spezia and a member of the International Institute of Ligurian Studies, Ghelfi has published numerous books and cartographic representations on the subject. The meeting will be introduced by Milena Matteini, president of the Giardini e Paesaggi Cultural Association.
