Remember When Real Animals Existed in Pokémon?

Nowadays, the world of Pokémon is exactly how Game Freak plans it out. It's filled with Pokémon, but zero animals and they make very sure they keep it that way. But quality control wasn't always that high in the Pokémon series. Early on its life, many, many real world animals slipped to the cracks and made their appearance in Kanto, Johto and the other earlier regions.
