NAF TO WING FIRST FEMALE FIGHTER AND HELICOPTER PILOTS

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) will on Tuesday, 15 October 2019, decorate 13 young officers with pilot wings after successful completion of flying training. Among them is the first NAF female fighter pilot, Flying Officer Kafayat Sanni, and the first NAF female helicopter pilot, Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile. The first airwoman to attain the rank of Air Warrant Officer, Grace Garba, will also be decorated with her new rank during the ceremony.
