FTS Citrine VS MLGFC

Great effort today from all the boys against very good side. 1st half we were the better team imo, work rate, attitude, keeping shape, passing it around for fun. We hit the bar/post at least 3 times, coming in 3-2 down didn’t reflect the game. 2nd we lost our shape in spells but the effort was still there and they carried on trying to play football. Think the score finished 7-4 to them. Not a bad result against a championship/Prem team as they had 5 players who were playing Prem last year. Give it 8 weeks and I’m sure we will be in the Championship as we deffo aren’t a div 2 team. MPOTM… Archie, another superb performance in the middle of the pitch, ran every blade of grass and drove us forward stopping them from playing. PPOTM… Rory, made some brilliant tackles, always looking to play the right pass and managed playing in a couple of positions very well. (Given by Mike) As always, we never lose we just learn!
