Unlimited: A Season of Limits

This is not a send video. Spring 2026 centered around two routes: Ludwig and Madness. Ludwig felt playful, gymnastic, and easy to return to — the kind of route that feels good to climb on even when it’s hard. I made a new low point through the final roof boulder, and it feels like something that could go with a season of sustained effort. Madness, although exciting, felt heavier. More involved. More effortful. Very compelling. I got more comfortable on TR solo, refined my beta, felt better on the route, and made some small but meaningful progress. The bigger theme of the season was fatigue. Between surgery, training load, work stress, competition events, and life outside of climbing, my body didn't adapt the way I hoped it would. But the season still gave me better understanding, clearer direction, and unfinished business for the fall.
