Why doesn’t the San Diego trolley system have fare gates?
Transit riders in San Diego may soon be asked to pay more to board a bus or trolley. The Metropolitan Transit System board voted to recommend fare increases last month. Public Matters reporter Jake Gotta tells us this might not be the long term solution the agency needs.
