Mahindra Thar Roxx - Good & Bad Explained | First Drive

In our first drive video, we tell you all the big positives and negatives of the brand new Mahindra Thar Roxx 5-Door, which is based on a heavily revised Scorpio N/Thar Platform. It has also received the penta suspensions that we have seen on the Scorpio N, but that too has gone through some changes to offer the Roxx a more stable ride & handling balance. In fact, the Roxx also gets more powerful version of the 2.0-litre mStallion Petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engines. Both the engines now produce 173bhp and 370Nm. Besides mechanical changes, it also gets a new cabin and an extra row of seats to accommodate 4 adults and a child. The boot space too has gone up at 440-litres thus making the Thar Roxx a more practical vehicle than its 3-door counterpart. While it has received several changes, it still misses out on a few things that would make the experience even more wholesome.
